That led us to going into the big closet and pulling out some other games throughout the week. We found one (which we had played when we were little) that turned out to be long, dull and depressing. Out it goes. But we found another game that more than makes up for that one! The new game is called "Carcassonne". We just got it at Christmas and hadn't tried it. Actually, we had forgotten all about it, as we also had John Wayne Monopoly --- and that kind of over-shadowed everything else. ;) Well, Carcassonne is now one of my all-time favorite games. Elizabeth and I have had so much fun that we keep trying to squeeze in a half hour to get a game in (although, it's had to compete for time with Ticket to Ride: Europe --- another of our favorites!). There are a couple of expansion packs that we'd like, too, so we've put them in our Amazon cart and hinted to Mom . . . just in case she needs an idea for our birthday or something, right?!
The big flea market at Tiffin is this weekend. Hoping the weather holds out. Means an early morning to get out of here and drive down there on time, but we can hardly wait! More later.
